What is Windows 8

Windows 8 is the upcoming operating system due to be released by Microsoft some time soon. The exact launch date is yet unknown but don’t worry, as soon as we know we’ll let you know. Windows 8 is also known by its codename which is Chidori.

It is expected that Windows 8 will be built with tablet computers in mind which means it will support a variety of touch input. With that in mind it’s also important to note that the existing interface and the ability to use a mouse and keyboard will definitely be sticking around.
